1. Service Description

CampCancel is a campground availability monitoring service. We aggregate publicly available reservation data from state park systems to help you discover campsites and receive alerts when cancellations occur. We do not process reservations or bookings directly — all bookings are made through the official reservation platforms (ReserveAmerica, NJ State Parks, etc.).

2. Accounts

You must create an account to set up cancellation alerts. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity under it. You must provide accurate information when creating your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use automated tools to access the service at excessive rates
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or other technical restrictions
• Resell or redistribute CampCancel data commercially
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Interfere with the operation of the service

4. Data Accuracy

Campground availability data is sourced from third-party reservation systems and may not always be accurate or up to date. CampCancel provides this information on an "as-is" basis. We do not guarantee that a campsite shown as available can actually be booked, or that cancellation alerts will be delivered before a site is re-booked by another camper.

5. Notifications

Cancellation alerts are sent on a best-effort basis. Delivery timing depends on our scan frequency, email delivery speed, and third-party system availability. We cannot guarantee that you will receive an alert before a cancelled site is booked by someone else.

6. Alert Limits

Free accounts may create up to 100 active alerts. We reserve the right to adjust these limits. Alerts with date ranges in the past are automatically considered inactive.

7. Limitation of Liability

CampCancel is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for missed cancellation alerts, inaccurate availability data, or inability to book a campsite. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the service (currently $0 for free accounts).

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your alerts will be deactivated and your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
