From Atlanta: Take I-85N to I-985N. Remain on 4 lane through Tallaulah Falls and on US 441N through Clayton. 3 miles N Of Clayton, in Mountain City, turn left onto Black Rock Mountain Parkway. Steep mountain road to the park. Highway conditions may be hazardous in winter months.
Black Rock Mountain has a steep grade. For reservation inquiries please call 1-800-864-7275. For Park inquiries please contact the park at 706-746-2141 or 706-746-2818 (EMERGENCY LINE) A ParkPass is required for all vehicles. Price for ParkPasses are not included with the reservation. Overnight guests pay only one ParkPass fee for the duration of their stay. The daily ParkPass is valid at all state parks visited the same day and is not valid at state historic sites.
