About Clover Island State Marine Park

The cabin is located midway between the communities of Juneau and Gustavus on an island in Lynn Canal between Point Couverdon and Howard Bay. It is situated at the center of the "H" shaped island approximately 1 mile to the south of Howard Bay. The island doesn't have an official name on any map or nautical chart but is known locally as Clover Island. This area is accesible by boat or floatplane and is popular for wildlife viewing, photography, kayaking, hunting, and fishing.
