The campground sits along the shore of the Duckabush River.
Recreation: Hiking, fishing, hunting, waterfall viewing and river walks are possible in the area. The Duckabush trailhead is located one mile west of Collins Campground. Murhut Falls Trail #828 is 1.3 miles up # 2530 road. Interrorem Historic Cabin, Ranger Hole Trailhead (a trail to a popular fishing area), and Interrorem Interpretive Nature Trail are located 1.5 miles east of the campground. WARNING: River contains swift water, rapids, and waterfalls. River is not floatable . Use extreme caution in or near the water.
