About Delaware Seashore State Park

Welcome to Delaware Seashore State Park, one of the state's most popular destinations. The park offers stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean to the east, and Rehoboth and Indian River Bays to the west. Set up camp beside the iconic Indian River Inlet Bridge, only a short walk from the beach. Grab a delicious bite to eat with an amazing view at our 2 on-site restaurants, open late May through mid-October. The Indian River Marina is a full-service marina offering charter boat experiences and excellent fishing opportunities. This park also has the Assawoman Canal house that is located in the town of Ocean View on the point of Assawoman Canal and Whites Creek near the Indian River Bay available for reservations. During your stay, be sure to visit the Indian River Life-Saving Station, a historic station built in 1876 for use by the United States Lifesaving Service to respond to the alarming number of shipwrecks along the coast. Today, the Life-Saving Station has been restored to its 1905 appearance, doubles as the park's visitor center, and offers tours and year-round programming The Park has campgrounds on the north and south side of the Inlet. The north inlet campground has 88 full hook-up RV campsites. The south inlet campground has 151 full hook up sites, 86 campsites without hook-ups; and 33 tent only camping sites. With excellent fishing spots, pristine beaches, and more, Delaware Seashore is a perfect destination for a seaside getaway.
