Duck Mountain Provincial Park - Childs Lake Campground

The Duck Mountains are a series of rolling highlands known as the Manitoba Escarpment, a legacy of the glaciers from long ago. An important area during fur trading times, the land is also characterized by the Boreal forest and glacial pot hole lakes. The campsites at Childs Lake campground serve as a refuge for fun-loving campers. Boating, hiking, biking and fishing can all be enjoyed here.<br><br> <b>Located in the Campground</b><br> Boat launch, dump station, kiosk, modern washrooms, pay showers, pit privies, playground, swimming (unsupervised beach), volleyball, and water taps.<br><br> <b>Located in the Park</b><br> Boating, canoeing, convenience store (Childs Lake Lodge), firewood (available for purchase), fishing (license required), gas station, hiking, picnic areas, picnic shelter, and rentals (canoe and paddle boat).
