About this park

Rising majestically from the shores of the Bay of Fundy, Five Islands Provincial Park is one of Nova Scotia's premiere outdoor destinations. The park features 90 metre (300 ft.) sea cliffs overlooking the world's highest tides, a spectacular setting for camping or any of the many opportunities that abound for hiking, beachcombing, and clam digging. The park offers a 92-site campground (19 Wooded; 73 Open), comfort station (showers and flush toilets), dishwashing station, two picnic areas, playground, an unsupervised beach, playground, and hiking trails. Serviced and Unserviced sites are offered. Water taps and vault toilets are conveniently located throughout the campground. Located just 29 km (18 mi) east of Parrsboro and 73 km (45 mi) west of Truro, on Route 2, "The Glooscap Trail". Route 2 is linked to Highway 104 at Exit 4 in Amherst, Exit 5 near Springhill, and Exit 11 at Glenholme.
