About this park

Located in Augusta between Battle Creek and Kalamazoo, Fort Custer features three lakes, the Kalamazoo River, second-growth forests, prairie restoration areas and a 219-site campground. Trails have been separated between equestrian and mountain bike users. All trails are open to hiking and hunting. Dog sledders may also be encountered. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited April 1st through Labor Day.
