Getting There

Hwy 30W/101S from Astoria: Take first exit from round about onto US-101 S. - 2.3 Mi Turn Right onto E Harbor Drive - 1.3 Mi Stay straight on E Harbor. E Harbor becomes OR-104 - 3.2 Mi Turn left onto Lake Drive - 0.7 Mi Lake Drive becomes NW Ridge Rd - 0.3 Mi Turn right onto Peter Iredale Rd. (Second park entrance, directly across from KOA Campground) Hwy 101N/26W Junction: Continue North on US - 101 - 12.7Mi Turn left onto OR-104 - 1.4 Mi Turn left onto SW 18th St./Delaura Beach Ln. - 0.8 Mi Stay straight onto SW Ridge Rd. - 2.5 Mi Turn left onto Peter Iredale Rd. Rules & Important Info

OPRD is considering changing park rules that may impact your reservation including refunds and cancellations. Read more about proposed rules and share your comment. The park will have closures through June of 2026 due to construction in various areas throughout the park. Effective December 2025 The campground entrance road at Fort Stevens State Park will be undergoing culvert repairs. This will cause intermittent closures of the campground entrance road and dump station facilities. Alternate access through the South Jetty day use road will be available for access to all parts of the park. Extra Vehicles: Campsite fees include parking for one vehicle. Campers may have a total of two vehicles per site; extra vehicle fee is $10 per night. Now Available: Register extra vehicles online when booking or before check-in. Alternate parking is available only for second vehicles that do not fit on parking pad. Additional vehicles will not be allowed in the Park overnight. For general information about extra vehicles, visit our Oregon State Parks website. Please check in at the Ranger Station for instructions. Seasonal beach restrictions March 15 - Sep. 15: Beach restrictions are in place on Clatsop Spit west of the Fishermen's Beach access to the South Jetty during nesting season for the Western Snowy Plover.
