About this park

With access to one of the best beaches in North America, Grand Beach Provincial Park is the first choice for those who love the hot sun, blue skies, and relaxation. The 3 kilometre stretch of fine silica sand, with its rolling dunes reaching up to 12 metres in height, is a perfect haven for sun-worshippers. The smooth surface of the sand seems to melt into the calm waters of Lake Winnipeg. Nearby, the Grand Beach campground provides campsites offering a combination of electrical and basic camping opportunities with centralized modern washrooms and a shower building. A variety of nature trails ranging from 1.1 kilometres to 13.3 kilometres in length offer hiking opportunities that can challenge all outdoor enthusiasts. Other activities available in the area include tennis, basketball, volleyball, water skiing, boardsailing, boating, kayaking, pickleball, golfing and skateboarding.

Located in the Campground
Convenience store (grocery and snack bar), dump station (near campground office), firewood (available for purchase near campground office), interpretive programs (amphitheatre), kiosk, laundry, modern washrooms, pay showers, and water taps.

Located in the Park
Basketball (pickleball court, skateboard park), biking, boat launch (West Beach), boating (lagoon), canoeing (lagoon), doctor (July/August), fishing (license required), gift shop (Boardwalk at West Beach), hiking, picnic areas (West Beach), picnic shelter (West Beach), playground, rentals (kayak, paddle board, skim board, boogey board), restaurant (Boardwalk at West Beach), swimming (unsupervised beach), tennis (Boardwalk at West Beach), and volleyball (Boardwalk at West Beach).

Located Outside the Park
Baseball, church, gas station, golf (18 holes and mini golf), and video store.
