About Gunlock State Park

Gunlock State Park is hidden in South Western Utah as an escape from the world. Its red rocks, magical waterfalls in season, and sparkling waters make this a unique State Park.

Location: Gunlock boasts a beautiful beach for picnics and observing wildlife. The geologic features of the park have a rich history back to prehistoric times. The desert landscape creates beautiful sunsets over the reservoir in all seasons.

Recreation: The water activities include motorized boating, kayaking, paddleboarding, windsurfing, and fishing. Hiking trails are both within the park and adjacent to local BLM land. OHV trails are accessible from Gunlock State Park. Kayak and paddleboard rentals available on site.
