Hat Rock is located 9 miles east of the City of Umatilla on Hwy 730. At junction go north 1 mile on Community Rd to the 'Y' in the road with the Hat rock state park sign. West side - straight on Boat Ramp Rd 1/2 mile to parking area. Right to parking lot and turn around. (areas C and D located here.) East side - right at the 'Y', 150 yards to parking area. Right side parking lot and turn around. (areas A and B located here.)
OPRD is considering changing park rules that may impact your reservation including refunds and cancellations. Read more about proposed rules and share your comment. During Winter Season flush restrooms may be closed due to cold weather. Pit toilets will be available. Special use permits may be required for non traditional activities like weddings, alcohol and amplified sound system. Please contact the park directly at 541-983-2277.
