This rustic equestrian campground is situated on the shore of Headquarters Lake and adjacent to the Headquarters Lake Equestrian trails. There is also a large equestrian day-use area near the entrance of the campground with picket poles, a manure pit and a ramp for loading and unloading horses from trailers. Visitors may park and stage equipment in this area while they enjoy access to the <a href="https://www2.dnr.state.mi.us/parksandtrails/Details.aspx?id=394&type=SFPW" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Headquarters Lake Equestrian Trails</a>.
