Jordan Lake State Rec Area

Please note that the GPS coorindates provided should be used. The park address is not listed on any GPS system. If you attempt to use this method it will misdirect you. Traveling west or east on I-40 from Raleigh, exit onto US 1/US 64 west (exit 293A, Sanford/Asheboro). Take the US 64 exit (exit 98B) and travel west. The park office is on the left just before the bridge over Jordan Lake. Traveling east on I-40 from Greensboro, take exit 274, NC 751/Jordan Lake, go south on 751 and turn right onto US 64 to travel west. APEX, CARY, CHAPEL HILL, DURHAM AND RALEIGH The front gate is closed and locked at posted closing times for your protection. There will be no exiting or entering the gate after this time and the combination will NOT be given out. All visitors not spending the night will need to be out by closing time. If you leave the park and do not return before closing time, you will not be able to re-enter. If you have an emergency, see camp host. Please notify camp hosts for emergencies only.
