Lockhart State Park

From Austin: Take Hwy 183 South approximately 30 miles to Lockhart. Turn right on Hwy 20 West (State Park Road) at the Dairy Queen. Park is located 2 miles from Hwy 183 on the left. From Houston: Take I 10 West to the first Luling exit. Take Hwy 183 North to Lockhart. Turn left on Hwy 20 at the Dairy Queen (3rd light). Park is located 2 miles from Hwy 183 on the left.

If your plans change, please modify or cancel your reservation as soon as possible to allow someone else to enjoy the park. DAY USE FEE: $3 per day, per person 13 and older. $2 per person, per day for Group Entrance. OFFICE AND GATE INFORMATION: The gate to the park is open 24 hours, unless there is flooding. Park open 7 days per week. Park is open daily 6:00am to 10:00pm Office hours: * March 1 to Oct. 31: 7:30 a.m. – 7 p.m. (except Wednesday; the office closes at 5pm on Wednesday) * Nov. 1 to Feb. 28/29: 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. Late arrivals please use the self pay station located at Park Headquarters.
