Medicine Creek Dam was dedicated August 10th 1948. Today Medicine Creek SRA established in 1964, is used for camping, fishing, water sports and hunting.

Recreation: Boating, water sports, hunting, and fishing. Non-lifeguard beach area. Disc golf, volley ball, horseshoe and archery range.

Camping reservations may be made a minimum of three days in advance of arrival and a maximum of 180 days in advance of arrival. CHECK IN AND OUT SCHEDULE- If you check out early, the unused portion of your payment will be forfeited. Park entry permit is required of all vehicles. 40ft maximum length camping unit. 64 camp sites at 50amp, 8 sites at 30amps and 2 showerhouse/restrooms. 34 designated basic camp sites with vault toilets. 3 boat ramps and 2 fish stations.
