Located along the Wisconsin/Michigan border, over 7,600 acres on both sides of the Menominee River protect 17 miles of shoreline at this interstate recreation area. The river is known for its waterfalls and impressive whitewater, but there are many flat water paddling and canoe camping opportunities. There are four designated canoe campsites on the Wisconsin side of the river (signs with a canoe and tent symbol mark the sites).
