The campground is on the north shore of Grenada Lake. Several campsites face the water May through August, but the water level is dropped for water storage in winter, making the shoreline as far as a mile from the campground. Within the campground there is a small 17 acre lake that has a swimming beach and is stocked with Bream, Largemouth Bass, and Catfish for the campers to enjoy catching. Grenada Lake is on the Yalobusha and Skuna Rivers in Mississippi. The man-made lake has about 148 miles of shoreline and holds 35,820 acres of water.
Recreation: In addition to general lake activities like boating, fishing, picnicking and sailing, the region boasts a sports complex, baseball fields, an 18-hole golf course and a fitness trail.
Nearby: Visit the Haserway Wetland Demonstration Area, a 100-acre reservoir of bottomland hardwood trees, five moist soil management areas, two millet ponds and a 1.5-mile interpretive trail. The campground is just five miles from the city of Grenada.
