The campground is nearby to Shasta Lake and Keswick Reservoir. The surrounding hillsides are coated in trees and shrubs offering a more secluded feel.
Recreation: Chappie-Shasta OHV Area provides 200+ miles of trails for motorcycles, UTVs, ATVs, Jeeps, and more! There are trails for all skill levels - from front country loops to longer, more remote adventures. This area is primarily used by OHVers - but access to the Sacramento River Rail Trail (non-motorized) and Shasta Lake are great too.
