Set up an alert →Mud Mountain Dam Park is nestled in the foothills of the Cascade Mountain Range, providing views of Mount Rainier and other popular focal points. Most of the year, the White River flows naturally through Mud Mountain Dam. During the Winter and early Spring, visitors may notice that there is a reservoir as water is held back to prevent flooding of areas downstream of the dam. The trails wind through old and new growth forests containing various trees, including maples and evergreens, that tower over visitors and provide habitat for the local wildlife.
