Getting There

Directions to Prineville Reservoir State Park From Portland: (approximately 3 1/2 hours) Take Highway 26 east, over Mt. Hood, to Madras. Continue on Hwy 26 to Prineville. At east end of Prineville, turn right on Combs Flat Road. After aprox. 1 mile, turn right on Juniper Canyon Road. Proceed 15 miles to park entrance which is SE Parkland Drive. From Salem: (approximately 3 1/2 hours) Take Highway 22 over Santiam Pass, to Sisters, then take Hwy 126 to Redmond. Continue on Hwy 126 to Prineville. At east end of Prineville, turn right on Combs Flat Road. After aprox. 1 mile, turn right on Juniper Canyon Road. Proceed 15 miles to park entrance, which is SE Parkland Drive.

Rules & Important Info

OPRD is considering changing park rules that may impact your reservation including refunds and cancellations. Read more about proposed rules and share your comment. Extra Vehicles: Each campsite fee includes parking for one vehicle. Campers may have a total of two vehicles per site; extra vehicle is $10 per night. Be sure your site will accommodate any vehicles and trailer; all vehicles must fit on parking pad. Now available: Register extra vehicles online when booking or before check-in. Additional vehicles will not be allowed in the park overnight. For general information about extra vehicles, visit the Oregon State Parks website. Park Rules There is a 6 person maximum allowed for any campsite at Prineville. Pets must be physically restrained, meaning you must be holding them, holding onto their collar, or have them on a leash no longer than six feet.
