About Quinsigamond State Park

Quinsigamond State Park consists of two sites located on Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester: Regatta Point and Lake Park. The 25 acre Regatta Point area offers facilities for swimming, sailing, picnicking and fishing. The area is used extensively for sailing and crew regattas. The pavilion rental fee does not include vehicle entry fees. Each vehicle will be required to purchase and display a valid parking pass. Vehicles are prohibited beyond the parking lot. Permits do not include parking spaces.

Location: The 2,000 meter rowing course established on Lake Quinsigamond is internationally recognized as one of the best courses in the world. The Lake Park area provides a number of recreational opportunities including a picnic area, swimming beach and tennis courts.

Recreation: WE ARE NOT YET ACCEPTING 2021 RESERVATIONS FOR THE PAVILION OR SHADE SHELTER. Please be advised, the rental of this facility is generally for a self-catered picnic or simple gathering. Should you be interested in having a caterer, amplified music, a bounce house, fundraising event, etc. you will need to secure permission via a special event permit. There is a $45 non-refundable application fee, a Certificate of Liability Insurance will be required and you will be need to submit a Covid-19 Compliance Plan stating how you will meet the Governor’s guidelines. Getting There

The park is located on the Worcester/Shrewsbury line in Central Massachusetts. Lake Park: from Regatta Point, travel south on Lake Ave across Rte 9 for 1 mile to park entrance on left. Park is located directly across from the State Skating Rink. Shade Shelters 1 and 2 are located across from UMass Medical Center; Pavilion 3 is at 283 Lake Avenue.

Rules & Important Info

Once you have made your reservation, please call the park to discuss your plans for the day. The office telephone number is 508-755-6880. Alcohol is prohibited in all DCR Parks and Campgrounds The pavilion rental fee does not include vehicle parking fees. The MA resident vehicle fee is $8.00 and non MA resident fee is $30.00. Please clean up the area after use. Use available trash and recycling receptacles. Do not wash dishes in bathroom sinks or at public faucets. Bring paper goods for your outing or plan to transport and wash dishes at home. Decorations my be hung with thumb tacks or tape. No duct tape, nails or staples. Remove all balloons and decorations. Pavilion reservations are rain or shine events. There are no refunds, unless cancelled with ReserveAmerica two days prior to the reserved date. Children must be attended at all times Children 16 and under must wear bicycle helmets while riding bicycles. Pets must be attended and leashed at all times; are prohibited from swimming beaches and state buildings, including restrooms. Pick up after your pet and deposit waste in trash. The pavilion rental fee does not include vehicle parking fees. Each vehicle will be required to purchase and display a valid parking pass. Vehicles are prohibited beyond the parking lot.

Facilities

Regatta Point has 2 shade pavilions available by reservation. Accessible restrooms are open all year long and an accessible beach wheel chair is available upon request. Lake Park has one wooden pavilion available by reservation with restrooms open during the spring and summer.
