This is an Oregon Department of Forestry operated campground. Reehers Camp Horse Camp provides relaxing camping opportunities on the eastern edge of the Tillamook State Forest. Located just 3 miles outside the small community of Timber, the campground offers 6 reservable equestrian sites, 3 reservable horse optional sites and 7 reservable drive-in non equestrian sites. An adjacent trailhead provides access to Gales Creek Trail, Step Creek Trail, and Triple C Trail for hiking, biking, and horseback riding opportunities.
Facilities are open mid-May through September. This is an Oregon Department of Forestry operated campground. Maximum occupancy for sites is 8 people, 2 tents and 2 vehicles. Discharge of any firearm, pellet gun, bow and arrow, slingshot, or other weapon capable of injuring any person, bird or animal is prohibited. Campers must bring a minimum of 1 pack or saddle animal if staying in sites A4, A5, A6, A7, A8 and A9. A1, A2, and A3 are horse optional.
