Resaca de la Palma State Park

From Expressway 77/83, exit at Olmito. Follow FM 1732 west for 2.5 miles, then turn left at New Carmen Avenue and follow for 1.5 miles. After the railroad tracks, turn left to enter the park. From Military Highway/Hwy. 281, turn north on New Carmen Avenue and continue for 2.5 miles. Turn right to enter the park.

DAY USE FEE: General - Adults $4 OFFICE AND GATE INFORMATION: Park is open daily 6am-10pm. Resaca de la Palma State Park Visitors Center is open Tuesday through Sunday from 8am-4:30pm and is set up for nature study, walking, hiking, biking and tram service. Vehicles are not allowed in the park, parking space is provided at Park Headquarters. Park visitors must check in at the visitor center during operation hours or pay entrance fee at the iron ranger, situated at the front of the visitor center. Additional activity fees and some concessions fees will apply to some activities and programs. Event contracts are required for some special activities. For rental facility arrangements contact the park for reservations and scheduling. Pets are not allowed in any park building or the tram, but may be kept on a leash on park grounds.
