Getting There

PHYSICAL ADDRESS OF THE PARK: 362 S. FM 2288 SAN ANGELO, TX 76901 From East or West: Take Hwy 67 to Arden Rd, go West on Arden Rd to FM 2288 then North 1/2 mile to South Shore Entrance (Red Arroyo) or 10 miles to North Shore Entrance (Bald Eagle). From North or South: Take Hwy 87 to FM 2288 South, go 1 mile to North Shore Entrance (Bald Eagle) or 10 miles South to South Shore Entrance (Red Arroyo).

Rules & Important Info

If your plans change, please modify or cancel your reservation as soon as possible to allow someone else to enjoy the park. DAY USE FEE: $4 per day, per person 13 and older. OFFICE AND GATE INFORMATION: Entrance Gates are open 6:00am – 10:00pm South Shore Gatehouse Hours are 8:30am – 4:30pm daily. North Shore Gatehouse Hours are 8:30am – 4:30pm daily, as staffing allows. Red Arroyo, Isabel Harte Primitive Area, Limited Use cabins, and the Lakeview Day Use Area are closest to the South Shore Gate. Bald Eagle and North Concho Campgrounds are closest to the North Shore Gate. If you will be a late arrival, you must call the park prior to 5pm on arrival date for late arrival instructions - 325-949-4757 option 4. Interpretive Tour Fees: Petroglyph, Permian Era Tracks, Longhorn, Bison, Dave Macey's Grave & Star Gazing. Contact Park for more information or reservations 325-949-4757. Access to 40+ miles of multi-use trails from either N. or S. entrance. Watering troughs located throughout trails. Camping also available.
