Set up an alert →<p>Sir Richard Squires Memorial Park is located in western Newfoundland approximately 36 km northeast of Deer Lake along Route 422. The park is situated on the scenic Humber River and is a popular place for salmon angling. This park is locally known as Big Falls and is a great spot to view Atlantic Salmon as they jump the falls heading upstream. Sir Richard Squires Memorial Park was established in 1954 as the first provincial park in Newfoundland and Labrador.
