Directions to South Beach State Park On Highway 101, 1 mile south the Yaquina Bay Bridge in Newport, 15 miles north of Waldport. Entrance to park is located on west side of Highway 101. Well signed.

Extra Vehicles: Each campsite fee includes parking for one vehicle. Campers may have a maximum of two vehicles parked at a site; extra vehicle is $10 per night. One additional vehicles may park in a designated parking area away from the campsite for the nightly extra vehicle fee. A maximum of 3 vehicles registered per campsite. Now available: Register extra vehicles online when booking or before check-in. For general information about extra vehicles, visit the Oregon State Parks website. All sites in the A through G loops at South Beach have electricity and water. There are no full hookups or pull through sites. There is a dump station located at the park. H and I loop sites do not have hookups, no generators allowed. No Wi-Fi access available in sites; limited at the Hospitality center. No Wi-Fi access at site; Hospitality Center has limited Wi-Fi. Seasonal closures: A, B, C and D loops are reservable year round. E, F, G loops close November 1. H and I loops October 1. During seasonal closure, loops E and F can be utilized on a first come first served basis as demand requires. H and I loop opening for reservations May 27, 2022. All sites are reservable the last weekend in February for the Newport Seafood and Wine Festival, except H and I. Group camp 1 and 3 opening for reservations starting May 20, 2022.
