Spruce Woods is home to the famous Spirit Sands, the desert-like area that features sand dunes that tower up to 30 feet high. Within these dunes, catch a glimpse of Manitoba's only lizard, the northern prairie skink, or see the western hognose snake and cacti - they are all unique to Manitoba. Be sure to visit the Devil's Punch Bowl, an eerie pond formed by an underground stream, or paddle down the historic Assiniboine River canoe route. There are many activities which will keep the family busy, including interpretive programs, trails, miniature golf, fishing, biking, swimming, bird watching, and equestrian areas. Kiche Manitou features electrical and basic camping opportunities close to many conveniences and activities.
