Stephenfield Lake is actually a reservoir that was formed on the Boyne River due to concerns about the area's water supply. The park was later formed around the lake's south shores in 1974. Take advantage of the many recreational amenities that are found in the park, like the beach, baseball diamond, horseshoe pits, hiking trails and the boat launch. It is a terrific family-oriented campground. Stephenfield offers its campers great sites, that are large, private, and enclosed within a well-treed area. The campground provides five group use areas.
