Rules & Important Info

Group Picnic Shelters are available on a day use basis only between the hours of 8am and 9pm. Camping at the shelters is not permitted. Please inform all persons in your party it is their responsibility to pay the $5.00 day use fee upon entering the park to use the group shelter. Group shelters will be checked before and after use by park staff. Any damages to State Park property, or excessively dirty sites may result in a citation or damage fee. There are trash containers at each site for trash disposal. CONFETTI and GLASS CONTAINERS ARE NOT PERMITTED. Alcoholic beverages may be consumed in moderation. Alcohol-related disturbances may be subject to arrest or citations by Law Enforcement. New Mexico is beginning our Outdoor Recreation Plan and needs your input! The plan will: Address the state and nation's outdoor recreation trends and their economic impacts Inventory the state's resources and address how best to protect them Help determine the state's priorities for awarding federal funds from the Land and Water Conservation Fund
