About Wasatch Mountain State Park

Wasatch Mountain State Park, in beautiful Heber Valley, is both a summer and winter destination. Soldier Hollow, the 2002 Olympic winter venue is located at the park's south end, and is open year-round for summer and winter activities, including biathlon, cross-countryskiing, tubing, mountain biking, and hiking.

Location: The park offers two historic areas, Historic Tate Barn and Huber Grove. Tate Barn stands as a sentry at the southern end of the park. It is an important architectural landmark and a symbol for the Heber Valley. Visitors may also enjoy the Huber Grove, which features the Huber Farmhouse and Creamery.

Recreation: The 36-hole golf course has won numerous local and national awards for its good play and excellent course conditions. Golf, camping, picnicking, hiking, and horseback riding are popular warm weather activities. Winter brings snowmobilers, snowshoers, and cross-country skiers.
