About this park

This popular conservation area is also known as Waterford Ponds. Fishing, boating, swimming and lakeside picnicking are among the activities available. A favourite with anglers, the three ponds at Waterford North Conservation Area are home to an array of fish species including largemouth bass, northern pike and a variety of panfish. Gas powered motors not exceeding 10 hp are permitted on Pickerel Lake. The park features 100 unserviced campsites with shady picnic areas and canoe rentals. Enjoy walking and cycling with access to the Waterford Heritage Trail nearby.
